Queries and Waiting

That seems to be the norm right now. I have, so far, sent out twenty-nine queries, and out of that eleven have come back as a rejection. I haven't lost hope. After all, some of the greatest books in the last century were categorically rejected but then ended up being massive successes.

Daniel Jose Older, author of the Shadowshaper series and the Bone Street Rumba series, was  rejected 40 times for Shadowshaper before it was published, and it has received many rave reviews and made many "Must Read List". So, there is always hope, but for now, all I can do is hope and wait, and keep sending queries until someone agrees that my story would work for them.
